Post-wedding Story

Huhhh..lama tak update blog, nak letak gambar pun tangguh lagi cos nak tunggu official photos from the photographer, gambar dari kamera sendiri agak amateur gitu, not that great to be pasted in the blog, so have to wait..

So far...i'm still adjusting to my newly married life, being a wife again after 2 years of being a loner is not that hard but being an instant mother of 2 needs a lot of practise & of course..patience.

Nasib baik anak2 pun dah besar so takde isu nak bancuh susu ke, tukar lampin ke etc...so far so good, syamariz bersyukur dengan segala kurniaan & limpah rahmat dariNya..its better to be with somebody then being alone actually..provided that person is worth being together with haha..

Di kesempatan ini, syamariz nak ucapkan terima kasih yang tidak terhingga kepada mereka yang sudi datang menceriakan hari bahagiaku walau pun schedule penuh hehe..pasai weekend tu memang penuh dengan kenduri-kendara, cuti sekolah katakan..juga mohon maaf kepada semua yang mengenali syamariz sempena nak menyambut bulan Ramadhan al-mubarak nie..take care!

Menghitung hari...and the countdown starts now!

08.08.08...... Last updating for now cos next week is holiday week yeehaaa..
My much awaited day is coming...gonna get bzzzzz
Harini last day of work sebelum cuti 2 minggu...bukan syamariz saje2 cuti tapi dah diberikan semester break, cuti aje laaa...bukan semua orang dapat cuti panjang ni kan..tapi most probably by next year, my institution will implement 30 days holiday a year, just like the rest of the govt sectors..seems like this year is the last to enjoy long breaks before every one of us will have to go to war in order to get a one day break..(i could vision it now) huhu...
Memandangkan this is my last post for now (cos my internet connection at home is super duper hampeh) and next week would be hectic like the world's going to flip over (for me laaa...), i guess i would like to share my joy..where else but at My Kopitiam laaa...
15th august is going to be the day i'm getting married...the second and InsyaAllah the last one, i'm so blessed to be given the opportunity to meet a man that could make me smile again...
**Flashback**....tak semua orang melalui pengalaman yang syamariz rasa, sesungguhnya perpisahan selepas perkahwinan itu (i refuse to use the word divorce/cerai) adalah sesuatu yang sangat sukar, mendukacitakan & melemahkan semangat, apatah lagi bila kita ada sebuah impian membina keluarga yang bahagia dalam kehidupan yang sementara ini...Perpisahan itu adalah antara dugaan terbesar dalam kehidupan syamariz...apatah lagi pada tahun yang sama, syamariz turut diduga dengan dugaan2 lain berbentuk kematian, kekecewaan & kesakitan...
Sesungguhnya Allah itu maha berkuasa & maha mengetahui, diujinya kita supaya kita menjadi insan yang lebih bersyukur, bersabar dan kuat semangat...syamariz bersyukur dikurniakan keluarga & kawan2 yang sangat memahami & menyokong...mereka inilah yang menyuntik kekuatan jiwa supaya tidak lagi menoleh ke belakang...apa gunanya perkahwinan sekiranya hidup dibelenggu penyiksaan..i won't elaborate much further on it, no use looking at closed doors (as one of my friends would say) cos now the sun has started to shine again over the cloudy day..
Kini...menanti hari bahagia, syamariz cuma berharap masjid yang dibina kali ini berkekalan hingga ke akhir hayat, i wish all my friends (old & new)/colleagues/families would pray for my happiness as i would yours...there's nothing more joyful in this short life then having a good health & spouse/family that no matter what, would always love, care and stand by you for always...

Strawberry craving..



Hmmm..... duduk kat Shah Alam ni memang banyak dugaan, dugaan untuk mengabihkan duit.....penuh dengan shopping complex/hypermarket yang sumernya dekat2 ajer..ada Giant, Tesco, Tesco Extra, PKNS, SACC Mall, Alam Sentral, Shah Alam Mall & Subang Parade..
Jalan2 kat Tesco Extra haritu, tak semena2 nampak strawberries..tiba2 datang keinginan nak makan yang teramat, kecur air liur....baru tersedar dah lama tak makan rupanya..last pegi Cameron Highlands pun tahun 2003, honeymoon zaman dulu2...then ada la jugak makan sikit2 kalau ada buffet kat hotel..
So nak jadi citer beli la sekotak..makan sepuas2nya...so sekelip mata strawberries seperti gambar di atas terus hilang dari pandangan...kat bawah nie sajer nak share the goodness of strawberries...have fun!

Or put them at the back of the cupboard or refrigerator so you won’t be faced with them every time you open the door. And divide large bags of snacks into single-portion baggies or buy prepackaged 100-calorie options.



3. KEEP A JOURNAL
Write down your weight each day, plus everything you eat. You’re the only one who has to see this—so be honest. Estimate the calories of each entry as you write it down. (Find out the number of calories in everything you eat. Visit nutritiondata.com.)



4. TELL EVERYONE
Sit your family down and tell them your goals. Be clear that losing weight is important to you and that you would appreciate their support. A weight-loss buddy also can improve your chances of success. If you don’t know anyone who fits the bill, consider joining an online support group.



5. EAT SEVERAL SMALL MEALS A DAY
It’s natural to be a little hungry during the first few days of any diet. Remind yourself that it is just a physical sensation, and you can handle it. Still, any diet that leaves you hungry all the time will lead to overeating. Many people find that having five or six small meals a day works best for them.



6. GIVE YOURSELF TREATS
If you deprive yourself endlessly, you’ll end up going on a world-class binge at some point. Consider adding a treat to your daily or weekly plan, but pay attention to portion size and calorie count. A 1/2 cup of low-fat ice cream or three pieces of chocolate can work as long as you limit yourself to that.



7. START AN EXERCISE PLAN
Besides burning calories, exercise also builds muscle and boosts your metabolism as you progress. One of the best things you can do is walk. Invest in a pedometer and aim for a goal of 10,000 steps or more a day. It’s the only number you want to see go up, up, up!

Sajer nak share article kat atas..very easy steps to follow & its not that hard or complicated. I hate it when they tell u to drop everything off & start things immediately. Nak2 pulak menu diet yang the very the complicated, malah lebih mahal dari menu2 yang biasa kita ambik..not to mention that Atkins diet, or the whatsoever diet that hollywood celebrities are doing..yeahhh easy for them, having thier own nutritionist & personal trainer...errr...as for me, i still have that cholesterol issue to battle and seeing things now, i'm sure i'm gonna fail miserably..with all the eating plus coffee...better start analyzing the above steps NOW!!!

My old friend Breinda

Me & Breinda..fast forward to 2008
Soooo excited to meet my old friend back from Sabah. This is what they say "the wonders of internet"..after not seeing each other for about 16 years, she dropped a comment at My Kopitiam & checked out my Facebook..thanks my friend, really appreciate that..
And so..semalam (ahad) kebetulan dia datang pulak KL for a meeting, kitorang pun janji la nak jumpa..tempatnya Mid Valley Megamall cos she'll be staying at the Cititel. Pertama kali jumpa terus kenal bah haha..walaupun suda 16 tahun tidak berjumpak, langsung tidak berubah itu budaq (baca dengan slang sabah ok)..makin kiut pulak sia tingok..kamik terus gi minum2 dulu sambil reminiscing the old days..cerita pasal classmates lama and what they are up to now, cerita pasal diri masing2..our plan for the future and so on..memandangkan Mr B sudah menunggu dengan agak lama serta malam kian larut, maka berpisah la kami setelah lebih kurang sejam menjejak kasih hihi..
I used to stay in Sabah for about 5 years (1988-1992), most of my teenage times were spent there, and i became close to this cheeky girl while in Form 4 & 5... lepas pindah KL memula tu berkirim poskad & surat (kaedah komunikasi kuno gitu haha) lama2 biasa la..dah pindah sini-sana so terputus kejap hubungan..now thanks to the cyberworld, lots of old friends from yesteryears could be found back..termasuklah my old friends from UUM (zaman matriks dulu)...
To Brienda, stay the way u are, maintain cute (eventhough we're not 17 anymore but who says we can't look like one echewahh) and do drop by My Kopitiam once in a while (if possible regularly haha)..keep in touch tau!

I'm back from the kursus & today adjusting to my normal working day life back..Secara overall, memang seronok sangat kursus Pemikiran Kreatif yang i pegi last week, satu sebab penceramah dia best & satu lagi belajar something that is different from what u do at work, one in a while u need that to refresh yourself..

Penceramah kursus ni En Zukaernain Wook dari Imteq Solutions Sdn Bhd..seorang yang berkarisma, kelakar, pandai mencuri perhatian dengan selingan isu2 semasa, siap ada tayangan video pasal mat rempit & mawi, buat aktiviti/game2 menarik and also lots of new things u learn to enhance ur creativity..thanks to En Zul, this course is so worth going

I juga dapat jumpa classmate lama masa belajar kat Ittho dulu, Nik Rahaya (moknik) & Zulkafli (Kap)..memasing pun dah kahwin, moknik anak 4 & Kap pulak dah 3..sonok sembang2 balik dengan diorang

Kat kursus nie jugak, terkejut bila setiap peserta dapat pencilbox comel ala2 zaman sekolah rendah dulu hehe..siap gambar kartun2 lagi, dalam tu ada pencil, pen, eraser dgn ruler..wahh ni senang nak bawak gi exam PTK nanti..mesti kalau orang tengok macam tak betul jer, dah tua bangka bawak pencilbox macam budak 7 tahun muahaha..

Apapun ramai puji kursus ni best & makanan sumer sedap2..tak tau la berapa kg syamariz dah naik sepanjang 4 hari kursus nih..next time i'll be sharing the good stuffs about Pemikiran Kreatif pulak...
